Question 1

Are these cookies truly gluten-free?

Accepted Answer

They are gluten-free only when you use certified gluten-free oats. Oats themselves are naturally gluten-free, but many brands are processed in facilities that handle wheat, so certification is important for people with celiac disease or strong gluten sensitivity.

Question 2

Can I prepare the dough ahead of time?

Accepted Answer

The recipe recommends baking before freezing because the dough doesn’t keep as well in the freezer. If you must refrigerate, keep the scooped dough covered and bake within a day or two for best results.

Question 3

The ingredient list shows a missing amount for melted coconut oil — what should I do?

Accepted Answer

The source lists the coconut oil without a specified measurement. Before baking, confirm the intended amount from the original source or add melted oil gradually until the batter reaches a cohesive, spreadable consistency.
