Question 1

Can I roast the vegetables ahead of time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Roast the vegetables, cool them to room temperature, and store separately. Reheat briefly if you prefer warm vegetables, or add them cold—either way, assemble with the rice just before serving for best texture.

Question 2

How do I re-emulsify the tahini dressing if it thickens?

Accepted Answer

Whisk in 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of water or lemon juice at a time until the dressing loosens. Bring the dressing to room temperature and whisk vigorously to restore a smooth consistency.

Question 3

Is this salad suitable for meal prep?

Accepted Answer

Yes—make the rice and roast the vegetables ahead. Keep the dressing separate and combine everything just before eating so the salad doesn’t dry out.
